Mr. Soffer serves as President of Gazit-Globe. Since joining the company in 1997, Mr. Soffer has held several senior executive roles and leadership positions. During his tenure at Gazit-Globe, Mr. Soffer has attained extensive expertise in both the retail and healthcare real estate sectors in public as well as private markets and has been involved in the Group’s worldwide M&A activity and the growth of its global platforms to a total value of approximately $18 billion across 20 countries.
From 2001 to 2009, Mr. Soffer was located at the Group's offices in the United States. More recently, Mr. Soffer led Gazit-Globe’s IPO in the United States and the listing of its shares on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: GZT).
Mr. Soffer also serves as CEO of Gazit Group USA, , a private subsidiary of the company, Vice Chairman of Gazit America (TSX: GAA), a Director of Atrium European Real Estate (VSX/Euronext: ATR), and Executive Chairman of ProMed Properties and Gazit Senior Care, Gazit-Globe's private subsidiaries.
Mr. Soffer holds a B.A. in Economics and an LL.B from the College of Management, Academic Studies, in Israel.

Mr. Ballan serves as Senior Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Company Secretary. Mr. Ballan joined Gazit-Globe in 2007. Prior to joining Gazit-Globe, Mr. Ballan was a Partner at Naschitz, Brandes & Co. in Tel Aviv, one of the largest law firms in Israel. Previously, Mr. Ballan was an Associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, in New York. Mr. Ballan holds a LL.M. degree from New York University and a LL.B. from Essex University in the U.K.
Mr. Ballan serves as Senior Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Company Secretary. Mr. Ballan joined Gazit-Globe in 2007. Prior to joining Gazit-Globe, Mr. Ballan was a Partner at Naschitz, Brandes & Co. in Tel Aviv, one of the largest law firms in Israel. Mr. Cunia serves as Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since March 2011. Mr. Cunia has served as Gazit-Globe’s Chief Financial Officer since December 2009. Prior to joining Gazit-Globe, Mr. Cunia resided in Lausanne, Switzerland where he was the CFO of "Eden Springs" Group. Mr. Cunia has more than 14 years of experience in managerial positions in the fields of finance, mergers and acquisitions, controlling, accounting, treasury and auditing. Mr. Cunia holds a degree in Business Management from the College of Management in Tel Aviv. Mr. Cunia is also a Certified Public Accountant.

From 2000 through 2004, Rami served as an auditor at Ernst & Young. Mrs. Zuntz serves as VP of Corporate Responsibility since March 2012. Most recently Mrs. Zuntz served as our Company Secretary, a position she held since December 1998. Mrs. Zuntz serves as a director in some of Gazit-Globe's subsidiaries. Previously she was personal assistant to Mr. Chaim Katzman.
Mrs. Zuntz serves as VP of Corporate Responsibility since March 2012. Most recently Mrs. Zuntz served as our Company Secretary, a position she held since December 1998. Mrs. Zuntz serves as a director in some of Gazit-Globe's subsidiaries. Previously she was personal assistant to Mr. Chaim Katzman.
Mr. Katzman is the founder, controlling shareholder and Chairman of Gazit-Globe (TASE: GLOB; NYSE: GZT) . Mr. Katzman is also the Chairman of Norstar (formerly Gazit Inc.), the parent company of Gazit-Globe. Mr. Katzman has served as Chairman of Gazit-Globe and Norstar, since 1998 and 1991, respectively.
In June 2010, Mr. Katzman was appointed Chairman of Citycon Oyj (OMX: CTY). Mr. Katzman also serves as Chairman of the Board of Equity One (NYSE:EQY), a leading U.S. Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) he founded in 1992 and as Chairman of First Capital Realty (TSX: FCR) since 2000. In 2008, Mr. Katzman was named Chairman of Atrium European Real Estate (VSX and Euronext Amsterdam: ATRS).
A pioneer of the retail investment and development industry, Mr. Katzman is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT), the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the Real Estate Roundtable and the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate (AFIRE).
Mr. Katzman is also the founder of the Gazit-Globe Real Estate Institute at the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) in Herzliya, Israel.

Mr. Arie Mientkavich is Active Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Gazit-Globe and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Gazit Globe Israel (Development); Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of IDB Holdings Corporation; Chairman of the Board of Directors of Elron Electronic Industries; Chairman of the Board of Directors of RDC - Rafael Development Corporation and member of the Boards of Directors of both Given Imaging and NuLens, of the IDB group.
In addition to these, Mr. Mientkavich also serves as a Member of the License Committee and Member of the Advisory Committee of the Bank of Israel (Israel's Central Bank) on Matters Concerning Banking and as Member of the Advisory Board of the National Defense College of Israel.
Prior to this, (1997- 2006) Mr. Mientkavich served as Active Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Israel Discount Bank and several of its major subsidiaries – Israel Discount Bank of New York, Mercantile Discount Bank and Discount Management Provident Funds. During that period, he led the remarkable recovery program and the resulting successful privatization of the Bank.
Formerly, (1987-1997) he served as Active Chairman of the Board of the Israel Securities Authority (the Israeli equivalent of the American SEC), leading far reaching reforms which shaped the structure of the Authority and the nature of the Israeli capital markets. He was also a member of the Israel CPA Advisory Council and a member of the Advisory Board of the Bank of Israel .
Prior to that, (1979-1987) Mr. Mientkavich served as General Counsel to the Israeli Ministry of Finance, which entailed overall responsibility for legislation and supervision in the areas of finance, budget and banking in Israel.
In the civic domain, Mr. Mientkavich is the chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Academy of the Quality of Government Movement in Israel, In addition, he is Chairman of the Public Committee of Yad Sarah, an NGO in the field of humanitarian support of public health.
In 1995 he was honored with the award of Knight of Quality Government by the Quality of Government Movement.
Mr. Mientkavich was born in 1942 and grew up and was educated in Jerusalem, where he now resides. He is married and the father of four children.
Mr. Mientkavich holds degrees in Law and Political Science from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and was admitted to the Israeli Bar in 1972.
Mr. Mientkavich's native language is Hebrew and he is fluent in English and Polish.

He is Professor Emeritus of the Management Faculty at Tel Aviv University. Mr. Orgler holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Technion; an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Ph.D. in Management- specializing in Finance from the Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

From 2005 until December 2008, Mr. Sesler served as managing partner and later as co-head of real estate investment banking at Merrill Lynch. Mr. Sesler received a B.A. in Government from Cornell University.
